Last week we read the story, Apples, Apples, Apples by Nancy Elizabeth Wallace. The vocabulary words from this story were orchard, limb, and chart. In Jolly Phonics we learned the sounds of o & u.  The popcorn words were on & we.  In handwriting we practiced making the letter Aa and continued to print numbers 1-10. In math, the students practiced counting, reading and writing numbers to 10 during math centers.

Our school will have a Halloween parade and party!  The parade will be at 1:45 p.m. outside of school.  The classroom party will immediately follow.  Students may wear costumes to school that day.  Please remember that weapons of any kind are not allowed.
