This week we continued to read stories about the farm. We read The Enormous Turnip, Mouse's Birthday, and Time's Up! We also read some St. Patrick's Day stories. The class liked the stories, Jack and the Leprechaun and The Luckiest St. Patrick's Day Ever! We made words in the -ip, -it and
-in word families. Our new popcorn word was the. During handwriting we worked on the letters r, n, m, h & b. In math we continued to practice telling time to the hour. We also compared and ordered objects by length and measured with unifix cubes and paper clips. The students had beautiful weather for outdoor recess. They also went to gym, library and computers. Morgan was the star of the week. The class enjoyed his poster and show and tell. They made him a special book and his dad read to the class. It was a great week! Happy St. Patrick's Day!
