We celebrated Dr. Seuss this week!  The students enjoyed many of his stories and activities throughout the week.  The new popcorn words we learned were this, that & new.  We are now working on short i word families and practiced making words in the -it & -in families.  The students are doing more sentence writing and are doing a fantastic job sounding words out. In math we are learning to count by 5's to 100 and add and subtract.
