This week we finished our reading theme, We're a Family. Some of the stories we read were, The Amazing Little Porridge Pot, Tortillas and Lullabies (in english & spanish), Koala Lou, & Me & My Dad. The popcorn words that we added to our popcorn bags this week were mom & dad. The Jolly Phonics sounds that were taught were, ai & oa. In Handwriting we are finishing up the starting corner capital letters and will begin center starting capital letters that have a magic c in them. In math we have continued to work on numbers to 10 and numeral writing. Continue to practice these at home in a variety of ways. Some students struggle with printing some of these numbers correctly. The students have no school tomorrow in honor of Veteran's Day. Enjoy your long weekend!
